MEA DANCE CAMPS
Friday, October 17th
Dancers ages 3 1/2 thru KGN (10:00 am-1:00) - Mini Dance Camp! $25- Snacks, movies, crafts and dance.
Dancers ages 1st thru 4th grade (10:00am-1:00) Hip Hop Dance Camp! $25- Craft and hip hop dance class.
Sign up for dance camps at the front desk or click here to register on line. All dancers should bring a bag lunch with a beverage. Camps are also open to friends/family of WDC students!
Dance-a-thon Fundraiser

It’s time for our annual Dance-a-thon! Each fall, Woodbury Dance Center holds a dance-a-thon to raise money for a charity organization. This year we will be raising funds for Breanna’s Gift, an arts endowment established at the Ronald McDonald House of the Twin Cities in honor of a little girl named Breanna. When Breanna was 3 she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She was almost 4 1/2 when she died. During those 4 1/2 years, her love of the arts was blooming. Music and dance became a way to leave her treatments and surgeries behind. Her Grandmother, a dancer herself and a friend of our Miss Shelley, began Breanna’s Gift in June of 2007. This endowment will offer dance, art, music and theatre classes for the children and their families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House and will cover the cost of professional teachers, dance wear, dance shoes, lesson videos, costumes and art materials.
The dancer raising the highest funds will win a $300- dance scholarship from WDC! Look for an informational bulletin board at the studio soon, as well as info on our website. Information sheets and forms for collection are available at the front desk.
A note to parents: Dancer's ages 4 1/2 through kindegarten will be seperated from the older dancers that night for their own party fun with dance, crafts, movies and snacks staffed by WDC staff and teacher assistants.

Halloween Parties!!!
Students are invited to wear a Halloween costume to their class between Friday, October 24th and Friday, October 31st. (Friday PM students should wear costumes on Oct 24th, there will be no PM classes the 31st. Friday AM students can wear their costumes to class Halloween morning). Please make sure that the costume does not retrict movement so that students can still participate in dance class. We will have Halloween treats too!!
Payment Coupon Books- Auto Payments
If you requested a Payment Coupon Book, they are ready for pick up at the front desk. If you would still like a Coupon Book, stop at the front desk or call to request one.
An automatic withdrawal option is available at WDC. Check at the front desk to get the form needed for this convenient payment option.
DATES TO REMEMBER
October 1st- A costume deposit of $30- is now due for each student that is participating in our Spring Recital. This costume deposit payment can be made with your October tuition, please make note of it in the memo portion of your check.
November 1st - A second costume deposit of $30 will be due for dancers in 1 1/4 hour classes and dancers in 8th - 12th grade tap/jazz classes.
MEA Break- Classes will be in session.
Halloween- Friday, October 31st- NO PM CLASSES- morning classes will be in session.
Dance-a-thon- Saturday, Nov 15th-
Holiday Calendar
Thanksgiving Wednesday, November 26th through Saturday, November 29th
Holiday Break Monday, December 22nd through Thursday, January 1st. Classes resume Friday, January 2nd.
