Thank you!  As we enter into 2012, all of us at Woodbury Dance Center would like to thank you for sharing your children with us!  We are truly grateful for the opportunity to work with so many awesome kids and we appreciate the opportunity to see them each week.

For those of you who made a donation to our TOYS FOR TOTS drive, your thoughtfulness is much appreciated!   Thanks to you, we delivered a van full of toys to the distribution warehouse.  Thank you for helping us make our annual toy drive a huge success!! 

The teachers would like to thank you for all the cards, goodies and gifts given over the holidays.  They are much appreciated.

Recital 2012

We are excited to be having our recitals here in Woodbury again this year at East Ridge High School!  Recital dates will be Tuesday, June 5th thru Sunday, June 10th.  Rehearsals will be held Monday, May 14th thru Wednesday, May 16th, as well as a couple over the weekend of recitals.  The exact date of your dancers Recital/Rehearsal will be out by Feb 1st. 

Class Attendance  Please help us by making sure your dancer is regularly attending their dance classes.  All classes are starting their recital routines.  Good attendance will:                                                       

• Help your dancer be more confident with their dances.
• Keep your dancer up-to-date on new steps and avoid frustration of trying to get caught up on what they missed during their absence.
• Help the teachers keep classes moving ahead with choreography from week to week.
• Help the teachers with formation work in class.

Make-up classes are available for most classes.  Please call or check at the front desk for class times.

Calling all Dancing Dads and Moms!!  Are you jealous of the fun your dancer has up on stage each spring??  Have a New Year's Resolution to get moving??   Then it's time to join Adult Dance!  We have both Mom and Dad groups.  Best part?  Tuition is FREE!!  Both groups will be learning a routine to perform in our annual recital.  There may be a fee for costumes.  Please sign up at the front desk.  Classes meet as follows: 

MOM'S: Mondays 7:30-8:15 p.m., starting January 2nd, Instructor: Mary

DAD'S: Wednesdays 8:45-9:30 or 9:45, starting Feb. 1st, Instructor: Kathy

**note: we will periodically be combining Mom's and Dad's classes on Wednesday nights.  (yes, this is a clue to something fun we are trying with the parents groups this year!!)

New Classes Starting in JANUARY   Would your dancer like to take hip hop?  Do you have a friend or neighbor that would like to try dance at WDC?  Tell them about our new session classes beginning January 19th!  NEW CLASSES this session: Hip Hop for 6-9 and 9-12 yr olds, new preschool classes on Fridays (both morning and evening) for 2-3 and 3-5 yr olds.  Check out the schedule HERE.  Give us a call or register online.    Thank you for helping to spread the word about our upcoming session!

You can sign-up for one class or all four.  Skill classes are open to all dancers, recreational and competition, ages 11+.   Have friends that are gymnasts, skaters, or just want to learn something new- invite them too! You will receive lots of personal help, tips, and improve on these specific skills!
