Breanna's Gift Dance-a-thon
Saturday, November 15th
6:00-9:00pm
Dancers ages 4 1/2 and up- friends welcome!!
It's time for our annual Dance-a-thon fundraiser! We will be raising funds for Breanna's Gift, an arts program for children with cancer and other serious illnesses. The program was established in honor of a little girl named Breanna. When Breanna was 3, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She was almost 4 1/2 when her fight with cancer ended. In those 4 1/2 years, her love of the arts was blooming. During her many hospital stays, Breanna could often be found in the playroom wearing a pair of tap shoes and dancing. Breanna's Gift offers dance, art, music and theater classes to children just like Breanna. For more information on this organization, go to breannasgift.org.

Holiday Parties...Holiday parties/parent viewing will be held during the classes of dancers in the following age levels: Tots, Preschool and Kindergarten. Parents and relatives are invited into the classroom for a half an hour to view classes and see students perform holiday routines. Please note that in order for all classes to have a viewing time, parents will be invited into class during half of the class only (except for tots, their party will be during their entire half hour class time). STUDENTS WILL STILL NEED TO COME FOR THEIR FULL CLASS TIME!! Holiday parties will be held between December 8th through December 20th. Exact dates and times will be passed out during your child's class.
TOYS FOR TOTS....WDC is excited to again be a toy drop-off for the 'Toys for Tots' program this holiday season. Drop off a new unwrapped toy starting in November. Toys for Tots has informed us that in previous years there has been a shortage of toys for kids ages 9-18, as well as infant gifts. Last year we donated over 600 toys. Our goal is to double that number this year!
As an alternative to giving your dance teacher a gift, we would like you to consider donating a toy or purchasing a stocking in your teachers name instead.

NEW SESSIONS STARTING!!
Mommy and Me meets Thursday mornings from 10:30-11:00. This class is for children 18 months and up along with a parent or caregiver. The 8 week session starts November 6th and runs through January 15th. Cost $48-
Adult Tap and Jazz is offered on Monday evenings. Tap: Beginner and Intermediate levels offered. Jazz: Intermediate only. One or both can be taken, the first class is $60-, the second is $48- for the eight week session, which starts November 10th.
New session-length classes starting November 5th for ages 2 to 5. Pick up an info sheet at the desk if you know of anyone who would like to try dance!
PARKING LOT...Please go slowly and carefully when driving through our buildings parking lot. The south side of the parking lot is now one way to help with traffic congestion. Also parents, please keep little ones close so they do not run out into traffic.
When parking on the road on the south side of our building, please do not park on the south side of the road (the opposite side). We can only park on the north side so that trucks can get through. When parking on the north side of our building, please park along the building only and not on the north side of the drive-way. Again delivery trucks need to be able to get through to other businesses in our building.
Please look for the No Parking signs. Thanks for your help with this.

COSTUME DEPOSITS... At this time students that are in the following classes need to make a second deposit of $30-: Boys Class, all 1 1/4 hour length classes and 8th-12th grade tap/jazz classes.
THANKSGIVING BREAK... There will be no classes Wednesday, November 26th through Saturday, November 29th. Happy Turkey Day!!
HOLIDAY DANCE CAMPS will be offered at WDC over Holiday Break. Drop off the kids and get your holiday errands done! Look for information coming out soon!
